In 1995 Sadhvi Balika Saraswati was born in Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara. Her family had followed Hindu traditions and reading of sacred Sanskrit texts. Her father was a doctor. He also attended social and religious events associated with Hindu organizations.

Her grandfather was a Sanskrit scholar. He was regularly reading Ramayana and other scriptures at home. Saraswati as a kid would sit beside him for hours. Those early moments created her life.

She started learning Ramayana and Bhagavad Gita at a tender age of five. She heard stories about Lord Ram and other Hindu teachings. She developed a keen interest in Ram Katha at an early age.

Then tragedy soon altered her life. Her grandfather was killed in a train accident. This loss affected her profoundly. But his lessons stuck with her.

Sadhvi Saraswati dropped out of formal school early on. Her highest degree was till class three. School study stopped her for entering Ram Katha work, she had said.

She left school and studied spirituality instead. She was a student of Hindu scriptures and Sanskrit texts. Her daily schedule included reading, prayer and speech improvement.

Early focus, according to many spiritual teachers, is what helped mold her extraordinary speaking ability.

Her public life started at an early age. She started being invited to speak about Ram Katha at local gatherings. People believed she had a clear voice and command over Hindi.

She became a nun (Sadhvi Deeksha) at age twelve itself from Chaitanya Peeth Ashram, Rewa. It was the final step that brought her into the fold of spiritual life.

The speaking events combined with Deeksha increased across central India. Religious organizations began inviting her to big Hindu events and ceremonies.

She speaks in pure Sanskrit style Hindi. Listeners offer particular praise for her clarity and strong tone.
