Cooking for a large group can get complicated very fast. Even the most thoughtfully planned meals can go out the window as you determine what dishes will please everyone (and meet their dietary restrictions, too!). That's what we love about Trader Joe's — it has just about everything you could ever hope for.
So, if you realize you don't have enough turkey, or you need to pick up some alternatives to meat, or if you just wanted to serve a healthier version of a much loved pasta dish, grabbing something to feed your loved ones from Trader Joe's is probably the first thing that comes to mind — but we'd recommend doing your shopping well before the holiday.
Will Trader Joe's Be Open on Thanksgiving?
Unfortunately, no. Trader Joe's will be closed on Thanksgiving. The store will be operating on regular hours the day before, November 27th, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. So make sure you have all of the ingredients for your Sorghum-Glazed Sweet Potatoes beforehand.
What Stores Are Open on Thanksgiving?
As always during the holidays, call your local store before you leave the house to make sure it'll be open. If you want to skip the cooking entirely, a considerable amount of restaurants and fast food joints are staying open too.
