What really should be done on father’s day is what very beautifully Zakir Khan has said in his recent video in so simple words. Following is the excerpt from the video by Zakir Khan on Father’s Day.
Dear Papa,
A wise father is one who knows his child but a good child is who knows his father. I have disappointed you a lot that I am not even capable enough to give you any suggestion. Growing up made me understand the hardships you face in your work, how difficult it is to earn a single penny. Just wanted to let you know that I understand the problems you face and the way you handle them as per your capabilities and whatever position you reached in your life whatever you did as per your capacity was exceptionally good. We are happy with that, we just have one bone to pick with you papa. You don’t talk with us. You’ll very happily tell us the good things happening with you but will never let us know the pain and hardships you are facing. What you like, what you dislike, what all things are there by which you are afraid? You never tell us about yourself, just always ask us about our schedule and future. We want to know what all fun you had in your time when you were my age. We also want to know about what your aspirations with life were and how much you achieved it. It was my fault that I never listened to you but now I want to know. Let’s be friends Papa.

Ammi ki hidayat thi bachpan me,
“jahan jaana hai jao bas Raat dhalne se pehle ghar wapas aa jaane.”
Ab sochta hoon,
theek hi thi woh pabandi.
Raat badhti ja rahi hai aur
ghar door hota ja raha hai.
bahut door.
