Sunita’s path has not been without its challenges. In 2024, her return to Earth was postponed because a Boeing Starliner spacecraft developed a helium leak. Having spent more than six months stranded on the ISS, she also encountered physical troubles, such as a large loss of body fat. But she didn’t give up; she even broke a record for the longest spacewalk by a woman (62 hours and 6 minutes).
