After some years the Company started being Popular in organising pro Wrestling. The Company spent revenue doing advertisements and So, so people’s started knowing.
But, Sadly WWWF Co-Founder Toots Mondt died in 1976. Due to this responsibility comes on the shoulders of Vincent James Mcmahon. Vincent James Mcmahon was a little old with his mind as he thought that wrestlers should only do wrestling and should also stay far from the limelight. For this reason, he removed star Wrestler Hulk Hogan from the Company as he had worked in a movie.
In 1979, Vincent James Mcmahon Changed WWWF changed to World Wrestling Federation (WWF) for Marketing purposes, After this Vincent James Mcmahon Son Vince Kennedy Mcmahon Opened his Own Company Titian Sports. For this, he applied for various trademarks such as WWF. Later, In 1983 Vincent James Mcmahon gave all responsibility to his Son Vince Kennedy Mcmahon to Look after WWF.
After this, a New Era of Wrestling was Born. Vince McMahon thought different from his father and worked accordingly with the Modern World. He thought to make WWF successful by Featuring it all Over the United States. He did Promotion from the Revenue gained from WWF and Signed Rival Superstars. He wanted to do National level Promotion which would appear in other countries. But he didn’t get Permission from NWA known as National Wrestling Alliance. Due to this, he decided to separate his company from NWA.
For Making it Successful, he resigned Hulk Hogan for WWF who was removed by his father. Hulk Hogan was made the Brand Ambassador of WWF and the Company rose to popularity. Many Wrestlers from various territories started joining the Company. But, Vince Kennedy Mcmahon wanted to make his Company called a National Company and would tour the United States.
In 1985, he started an Annual Event named Wrestle Mania which was a new concept. Vince Promoted it through Collaboration with various Hollywood Celebrities. Wrestle Mania 3 Event made a world record for maximum attended Event. This seemed that he was close to what the People’s wanted. He then Started Summer Slam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and ran many pay per view events.
In 1991, A File was Cased on Vince Mcmahon for using Steroids on WWF Wrestlers. The Popularity of the Show slowed down day by day. But, the Case went Wrong in the Court against Vince Kennedy Mcmahon. However, To bring WWF to Track he had to do something new. In 1993, he launched his First Television Programme “Monday Night Raw” on Prime Time. This Show aired on United States Network. It was a big thing that Nobody taught any Wrestling Show will be premiered on Television. For many years, his main focus was on Monday Night Raw.
