Choosing a dealer- Players draw cards to determine who deals first. The highest drawn card gets the honour. This will shift clockwise throughout the game.

Place an ante- An ante is accrued from every participant to shape a preliminary pot that gamers will combat over. This ante units the extent of the sport as each sport spherical is capped to a pot equal to 1024 instances the ante (except performed without restriction).

Accept your cards- The game's dealer distributes three face-down cards to himself and each player clockwise.

Begin by acting with the first character- The player on the left-hand side of the dealer will begin to act. He has the option of playing blind (without seeing his cards) or viewing his cards (with his cards seen). He can fold, call the ante, or raise to double his money if he's playing blind. He can fold, call double the ante, or raise to quadruple the ante if he plays seen. Whatever wager he makes will be referred to as a stake.

Continue to act- As a blind or visible player, each player will have the option of folding, calling, or raising in a clockwise direction. The amount a player can bet is determined by the preceding player's current stake and whether the current player is blind or visible. It's either 1x or 2x the stake if you're blind, and 2x or 4x if you're seeing. When a previously acting player is visible, the stake is always half of what it would be for an earlier acting player who is blind.

A side-show can be requested- If there are at least three players left in the game and a seen player is acting after another seen player, the acting player can request a side-show with the preceding acting player. The player who is being asked can accept or reject the request. Both players will discreetly reveal their cards if he accepts. While the game proceeds, the player with the lowest hand ranking is eliminated. Below are the hand rankings:

  • Trail/Set/Trio is the best hand- Three cards of the same suit or colour (for instance, A-A-A or 9-9-9 of a diamond, heart and spade)
  • Pure Sequence / Straight Flush are the second best hand- Three cards of the same suit and colour in a row (for instance, A-2-3 of hearts or K-Q-J of clubs)
  • Sequence / Run / Straight are the third best hand- Three cards of different suits in a row (for instance, A-2-3 or K-Q-J of a spade, heart, and diamond)
  • Color / flush is the fourth best hand- Three cards with the same suit and colour, but not in any particular order (for instance, A-K-K of hearts or 9-4-3 of spades)
  • Pair is the fifth best hand- Two identical cards, regardless of colour or suit (for instance A-A-9 or 5-5-J)
  • High Card is the worst hand- Three cards of the same value or suit that are not in any order (for instance, A-9-4 with two diamonds and one spade)

Demand a final showdown- Whenever players have folded or side-shows have occurred as to leave only two players left in the game, one of the players can request a final showdown. The player how doesn't claim it must either fold or call. If he calls the two players will show their cards and the one with the highest hand level will win the entire pot.

Enter an opportunity showdown- When performed as a pot-constrained game, an opportunity showdown can arise as soon as a pot-restrict has been reached. For instance, if the pot restrict is ready to 1024x the preliminary ante, all gamers might be pressured to reveal their playing cards while the pot has reached this amount.
