But if you feel like letting someone else do the work for you, that’s totally understandable. And fortunately, there are tons of great Valentine’s Day restaurant specials to choose from.
Whether you’re celebrating affection with your better half, your friends, your kids — or just treating yourself after a rom-com movie marathon — you’ll want to know where to go to score over-the-top holiday-themed menu additions at special prices. And if you’re celebrating multiple times in one week, you’re in luck: Most of these incredible Valentine’s Day restaurant specials are available at chains around the country in the days leading up to February 14. California Pizza Kitchen
Available from February 11 through 16, guests can order their favorite CPK pizza on heart-shaped crispy thin crust for no additional charge. The offer is valid at participating locations for dine-in and takeout.
There’s also a dine-in only promotion known as the “Sweet Deal for Two.” It costs $35 and is available February 12 to 16. It includes the choice of one appetizer, two entrees, and one dessert from a prix fixe menu. Add two glasses of wine for an additional $12.
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Black Tap locations around the country will offer the Red Velvet Cake Shake. The indulgent dessert is a red velvet cake batter shake with a vanilla frosted rim with red and white sprinkles topped with a slice of red velvet cake, whipped cream, and a chocolate drizzle. It’s available for $18 on February 14, at Black Tap locations in Las Vegas, Anaheim, and NYC.
Luxury cake boutique Lady M’s heart-shaped cakes will be available at all locations in the U.S. from February 12 through 16. Options include the six-inch heart-shaped Framboise au Chocolat, available for pre-order or purchase day-of and for in-store pickup at all boutiques from February 12 through 16. The $50 cake is comprised of chocolate mousse, raspberry compote, chocolate sponge, chocolate ganache, and raspberry gelee.
bd’s Mongolian Grill
In honor of Valentine’s Day, bd’s Mongolian Grill is offering its red deep-fried Oreos served with hot fudge for $5 between February 10 and February 15. The casual, create-your-own stir-fry restaurant has locations around the country.
Pluckers Wing Bar
On February 14, all locations of Pluckers Wing Bar will offer $1 Bud Lights and 75-cent wings. Known for its signature wings and sports bar environment, the chain has 25 locations in Austin, Baton Rouge, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Killeen, San Marcos, and San Antonio.
The pretzel chain Auntie Anne’s plans to present its Valentine’s Day specials throughout the holiday week, unveiling surprise delivery offers from February 10 through 13. Then, on February 14, the chain will offer buy-one-get-one heart-shaped pretzels in-store only, available at participating locations around the country for users of the Pretzel Perks app.
Nekter Juice Bar
If you sign up for the Nekter Juice Bar app, you can buy one 16-ounce Pink Flamingo Smoothie and get one free for your Valentine. The modern juice bar founded in Southern California has more than 100 restaurants in the United States.
Sugar Factory will have Valentine’s Day specials on their goblets, martinis, and milkshakes at over 20 locations around the country. Just in time for V-Day, they’ve added the “Hearts of Love Insane Milkshake” to their menu. In case you’re wondering, that’s a cookies-and-cream milkshake inside a chocolate ganache-dipped mug with chocolate hearts, strawberries, sugar crystals, and drizzled white chocolate. It’s all topped with whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, Oreo cookie crumbs, dark chocolate-dipped strawberries, and dark-chocolate dipped heart-shaped rice crispy with pink chocolate drizzle.
For Valentine’s Day this year, Ocean Prime’s locations will offer roasted sea bass over Alaskan king crab gnocchi with champagne cream, topped with baby carrot salad in a preserved lemon pepper vinaigrette. This menu feature will be available one night only, with prices ranging from $62 and $65, depending on the location.
The modern American restaurant and lounge chain has outposts in Beverly Hills, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Indianapolis, Naples, NYC, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Tampa, Columbus, and Washington, D.C.
On Valentine’s Day, guests can visit Firehouse Subs for a family-night offer. After 4 p.m., stop in with your brood and get a free medium sub with the purchase of an additional medium or large sub, chips, and a drink.
Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants
Valentine’s Day specials at Cooper’s Hawk include a meal of surf-and-turf filet medallions and parmesan-crusted lobster tail, plus horseradish and parmesan crusts, roasted root vegetables, and potatoes for $36.99. Or get twin parmesan-crusted lobster tails with sides for $38.99. For dessert, add a dark chocolate flourless chocolate torte with vanilla whipped cream and berries for another $8.99.
Hook & Reel
This Cajun-inspired seafood chain will be running a Valentine’s Day special at all locations. For $59.99, get champagne, an appetizer, Hook & Reel’s signature seafood boil, and choice of dessert. There are over 20 outposts around the country.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit
All February, stop by one of the 500-plus Dickey’s locations across the U.S. and get two meat plates for $24. These include guests’ choice of authentic slow-smoked meats, two savory sides, and a buttery roll.
Kids eat free at McAlister’s Deli, which is hosting its annual Valentine’s Day family date night. The offer is valid on February 14 for dine-in or carry-out orders. It’s good for up to two free kids’ meals per adult entrée purchase.
